Le 5^e étage est la plateforme digitale du Centre d’Art Contemporain Genève. Cet espace virtuel vient prolonger et compléter la programmation accueillie dans les étages physiques du Centre. Lieu d’expérimentation et de médiation, il propose trois types de contenus : la section works – véritable laboratoire de création visuelle digitale – rassemble des œuvres commandées spécifiquement pour la plateforme et des séries de travaux qui explorent les possibilités numériques de l’art. La section words a une fonction didactique et d’archive. Elle fait écho à la programmation de l’institution en proposant des captations de performances, documentations et entretiens avec les artistes présentés. Enfin, le 5^e étage propose un programme musical exclusif via sa propre radio.
