Season 2, Episode 1: Pico della Mirandola, ‘Heptaplus’

The second season of Overmorrow’s Library is dedicated to world-building, world-ending, and travel across worlds. Federico Campagna presents a new selection of books that might help us to appreciate the fragility of ‘worlds’, and the art of creating new ones through a particular use of our imagination.

This season begins with an episode on the youngest and brightest mind of the Italian Renaissance: Giovanni Pico della Mirandola and his visionary book ‘Heptaplus’. A syncretic combination of philosophies and mysticisms from the Mediterranean world, in a life full of adventure.
