Episode 1: Archipelagogo Club, when hybridity is at the heart of identity
With Maïté Chénière
Nomadic space, founded in Geneva in 2018
Nomadic art space, Archipelagogo Club takes the form of an ephemeral and augmented club that intends to show the richness and complexity that artistic creation from the night represents. Founded in Geneva in 2018, the structure responds to the lack of spaces dedicated to queer and racialized people and claims to be a space of celebration, representation and transmission. Maïté Chénière creates plural temporal and physical spaces where sound, visual, performative, theoretical, narrative and scenographic productions meet. Spaces where bodies meet and experiences are shared in ways other than those usually attributed to the exhibition, the conference, the vernissage or the after party. Here, the space of the party is the space of art.
